The Passivation Process
Natural passivation restores the protective chromium oxide layer on the stainless steel surface. After welding or manufacturing, this layer can be altered. The pickling process removes oxides and impurities, allowing the metal to naturally repassivate upon contact with air.
This step ensures the durability and compatibility of your equipment in sensitive environments: pharmaceutical, food processing, fine chemicals.
